I have a co-worker who just came back to work after her maternity leave. She looked fantastic, but was so sad that she had to leave her baby with family so she could come back to work. It is such a hard thing to do and everyone at work was very sympathetic. I noticed that she was wearing a very pretty gold pendant lockett along with other simple gold jewelry necklaces. I asked her if there were two pictures of her baby son in her gold pendant locket. Sure enough, she couldn’t wait to show me his tiny face in her locket. She said her mom gave the gold pendant lockett to her just before she had to return to work. It was a beautiful sentiment and reminded me when I had my gold jewelry locket with pics of my two kids. I still have that locket and the baby pics are still in there. I told her she will cherish that piece of gold jewelry forever. I know she will probably wear that necklace every day.
