Most often I will be wearing silver jewelry, but when the fall season approaches, I break out my gold jewelry. Gold jewelry just goes so well with the brilliant colors of fall. I just love the brilliant golds, flaming reds, and burnt oranges that cover the trees and the mountainsides in the autumn months. I have a few articles of clothing that do their best to match the colors that nature displays. My gold jewelry matches these best.
Most of my gold jewelry has a faux pearl in it somewhere. I have a piece of bracelet jewelry that consists of a slim gold chain with a faux pearl in the middle of it. It sits very prettily on my wrist. Since I tend to stick to matching jewelry, the earrings that I wear with it are a plain faux pearl post for each ear. 
One of my really great friends had me as a secret sister one winter, and she gave me a gorgeous pair of gold jewelry earrings. They were simple gold jewelry hooks with a tiny gemstone at the end of each hook. I loved those gold jewelry earrings. Unfortunately, these were given before the advent of clear backings for hook jewelry. One of them got lost somewhere along the way.
