I love my gold pendant locket. It's a beautiful gold heart that opens up and has pictures of me and my husband inside on our wedding day. Not only is it beautiful, but it's sentimental. When he is out of town, I wear it constantly because it feels like he is closer to my heart then. He bought me the locket, and our wedding photos are inside so I can open it and see us all day long. Lockets have been around forever, and are heirloom quality pieces of gold jewelry. I enjoy shopping at online antique stores and finding old gold pendant lockets that have been around for a hundred years or more. I always wonder at their story, who owned them and what their life was like. My mom has a locket, and inside is a picture of my dad and one of my daughter, who was her first granddaughter, when she was a baby. She received the locket right before my daughter was born, so that's who she wanted inside it. I think gold pendant lockets are lovely and beautiful.
