Gold Charms
I love gold charms. I have a drawer in my jewelry armoire that holds just charms. I have several designs of gold charms and they all have a sentimental feeling to them, but then doesn't most jewelry?
I have a lighthouse charm from our trip to the coast one year. I have lovely memories of sitting on the beach at night, having a glass of wine with my husband and watching the waves in the moonlight. Seeing an actual lighthouse after collecting miniatures of them for so long was thrilling for me.
My husband leaned over to kiss me and gave me a little jewelry box. I opened it and there inside was a lovely gold charm shaped like a lighthouse. It is truly one of my most precious keepsakes and every time I wear it, it takes me back to that night on the beach many years ago.
